MLS Training

A major benefit of membership is the ability to access our multiple listing service, or MLS.  The Association provides a progressive internet-based system called Flexmls. Training on the system is available through in-person training as well as online training.

Course Title: Introduction to the FLEX MLS system.

Description: This introductory class covers topics such as the Quick Launch bar, how to run and save searches, how to add fields to searches and save templates, how to set up automatic emails and portal websites, and how to create a custom hot sheet. The course also includes CMAs, Customizing FLEX, Statistics, Tax Searches, and Reverse Prospecting.  It is a hands-on in-person training class held in our computer lab where we provide the computers you will be learning on.

Credits: Counts as 3 PLE hours in Technology and Data Security.

Course Requirements: Before taking this course, you should have some computer experience and be able to use a mouse. Basic computer skills are NOT covered in this course. Loading Listings is NOT covered in this class.

Course Title: Forms Online Using Transaction Desk

Course Description:  The class will teach you how to correctly fill out online forms including contracts and disclosures. Will also show you how to use an electronic signature through Authentisign.

Credits: Counts as 2 PLE hours in Technology and Data Security

Forms Online Course Requirements: You must have a valid username and password to the Transaction Desk website (same as IMS login information).

Cost: All training both online and in-person classes listed above are FREE to Members, however, there is a $25 fee for no-shows in all our MLS in-person training classes (see attendance policy).

NO-SHOW/ Attendance Policy:
If you register for any of the in-person MLS classes and fail to show up on the day of the course, without canceling at least 24-hours in advance, a $25.00 No-Show fee will be charged to your GLAR board account. Students arriving late will not be admitted to class and will be rescheduled in another upcoming class. GLAR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes as needed depending on student enrollment.

Office assistants may attend MLS training but are required to have their own login credentials. These may be obtained by the principal broker through the GLAR Membership department at 502-894-9860. Once the assistant is granted access, they will need to register with a paper registration form. Please email for a registration form.

Location: In-person training classes are held in the computer training room at the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS.
