REALTORS Participate in Spring Week of Service
Over 150 members of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS came together as a collective force for good during their 2018 Spring Week of Service. The REALTORS Week of Service, held March 19-23, gives members of GLAR the opportunity to volunteer to help local non-profits in need and give back to the community where they live and work. Numerous projects are available for REALTORS to volunteer for during this dedicated week.
Local charities that were assisted during the 2018 Spring Week of Service include House of Ruth, Home of the Innocents, Snacks in Sacks, Backside Learning Center, Fuller Center for Housing, Mom’s Closet Resource Center, and Active Heroes Retreat Center.
The Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® (GLAR) is the “The Voice for Real Estate” in the Greater Louisville Area. As the local arm of America’s largest trade association, the National Association of REALTORS®, GLAR represents more than 4,000 members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. GLAR organizes advocacy efforts on legislative issues that impact the real estate profession and homeownership, offers professional development and continuing education opportunities, and coordinates community service projects throughout the year so its members can give back to the community where they live and work.
