By becoming a member of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS^®, you are joining a professional association of over 4000 licensed real estate brokers and salespersons engaged in all aspects of the real estate business throughout Greater Louisville. We provide services through our local association, through the Kentucky Association of REALTORS^® and through the National Association of REALTORS^®.

Our members impose high educational standards upon themselves, subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and take an active part in a wide variety of civic and community activities.

At a minimum, the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS^® will provide services that include (a) Professional Development, (b) Government Affairs, (c) Communications & Public Relations, (d) Awards & Recognition and (e) the REALTOR^® Store.

REALTOR® Member
To join the Association as a REALTOR^® Member, you must be licensed by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission or licensed or certified by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property. As a REALTOR^® member, you are able to use the term "REALTOR^®" and the Trademarked "R." Members must abide by a strict Code of Ethics and are encouraged to take continuing education courses

Designated REALTOR^®
To become a Designated REALTOR^®, you must hold a current Brokers license and be the sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or trustee. Designated REALTORS^® are responsible for the other members of his/her office and the actions of those members, including the strict enforcement of the Code of Ethics.

Affiliate Member
An individual or businesses that has interest in real estate and whose objectives match that of the Association may opt to become an Affiliate Member of the Association. Affiliate Members can advertise with the Association, go to and sponsor REALTOR^® events, post information at the Association office, and, in general, network with over 4000 potential clients. MLS/MSI Access Only
A REALTOR^® Member of another Association or Board may wish to participate in the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS^®®' Multiple Listing Service. Through this service, REALTOR^® members can search for and list homes within our jurisdiction.
